If you ask me, having a low net worth at a young age is it’s own form of wealth. There is something beautiful about not only having the incentive to work hard, but also being able to slowly witness your progress over time.

This article is going to share some ways to build wealth that anyone can utilize, regardless of what your net worth looks like.

It is said that every book you read increases your net worth by at least the cost of the book. However, many books can increase your net worth by far more than that in the long run.

The average person might hear titles like “Millionaire Milestones”, “Million Dollar Weekend”, or “The Millionaire Next Door” and scoff at them. However, as someone who has taken the time to read these books, I can tell you first hand that these are not “get rich quick schemes” but are practical, long term guides to building wealth.

But, even if you are a new reader and personal finance isn’t your go-to, then just about any book you read is going to have its own benefits. Reading in itself makes you sharper and more well-rounded.

All of the successful people read. If you want to build wealth in the long run, I would advise getting into it yourself.

The beautiful thing about starting an online brand is that it requires very little start up cost.

Anyone that has a smart phone has all of the tools they need to get started. However, even if you do want to invest in better equipment, or more stylish designs, the required costs are low compared to the potential returns.

So many people have started small only to grow their brand into something significant. Eventually that $100 a month turns into $1,000, and then $10,000, and so on.

The phrase “it’s not what you know but who you know” gets thrown around a lot. And personally, I can see that there is truth to that.

My Grandfather taught me many years ago that having a strong network is important. Over the years I have continued to build on that lesson by connecting with a large amount of people both online and in person.

You never know how people’s career can change over time. The guy that you see with 2,000 followers today may very well be on his way to 4.4 million down the road. Even if you never end up working with them hands on, it will give you a boost just to be a part of their journey, and have them be a part of yours. You can also take away valuable insights and inspiration by learning from others, which can fuel your own endeavors.
